Reviews from our customers ❤️

Awesome experience from request for quotes to scheduling and installation.

They had a few options and packages to chose from. I really appreciated the speed of getting a reply and patience in answering questions before signing on.Nelson came out to install, was extremely thorough in our options on how to install. We had a unique situation with routing our water but he was again, very patient and clear. They removed my old softener and put the new one in its place.

Eduardo came out to do the inspection and explained how to operate. Solid warranty too. All of this was done in a few hours. Highly recommend.

We had considered water softener for many years but were hesitant given the expense. Seeing the damage hard water does to your pipes, your shower appliances, dishwashers, cars, and skin.... Made me realize that water conditioning is a necessity! I called many (7+) sources on Yelp with the highest reviews... but Patagonia was a clear WINNER! Eduardo is simply amazing. He understands the products, the solutions, never tried to upsell me... and listened to all my concerns and provided solutions. His team are all employees and not contractors (very important) so they know exactly what they're doing and do the job with the highest quality in mind. Their pricing is very competitive and their service is world class! I am extremely pleased with their service and have recommended them to family, friends and coworkers!

I definitely recommend Patagonia for all your water needs. My skin feels softer, I use less product in my hair and face. And overall my drinking water needs are fully satisfied and my quality of life has improved a great amount! Thank you.

📍 Which areas do we serve in and around Monterey County?

Soft Patagonian provides water softener and RO system installation throughout Monterey County. This includes Monterey, Salinas, Seaside, Marina, Carmel, Carmel Valley, Pacific Grove, Castroville, Soledad, Greenfield, Gonzales, King City, and surrounding areas. Whether you’re near the coast or further inland, we likely serve your home or business.

🛠️  How do I know what type of water filtration is right for me?

We’ve studied Monterey County’s municipal water reports and understand the common issues local households face—from mineral-heavy hard water to chlorine, sediment, and other contaminants. After a quick consultation, we’ll recommend a customized water softener and reverse osmosis system tailored to your location and water usage, ensuring you get cleaner, safer water for drinking and daily use.

💧 Are there signs of hard water in Monterey?

Yes, hard water is common in many parts of Monterey County. Signs include mineral buildup on faucets and appliances, white or chalky residue on dishes, dry or itchy skin after showering, and decreased soap lather. Hard water can also cause scale buildup inside pipes and water heaters, reducing their efficiency and lifespan. If you notice these issues, a water softener could help protect your home and improve your water quality.

🛠️ What does the installation process involve?

We install your water softener at the main water entry point of your home, ensuring that every faucet, fixture, and appliance receives treated water. The installation process is quick and minimally disruptive, and most customers notice improvements in water quality, feel, and function right away.

How long does the system last? Warranty?

All of our systems are designed to be a long-term solution, with a lifespan of up to 15-20 years. You are covered under a 10 year warranty that covers all parts and labor.

What are your product certifications?

All our water softener and reverse osmosis systems are made in the USA and tested & certified by the Water Quality Association against NSF/ANSI Standards.
